My wife and I stayed here when I had a conference at the Westin. The property is located right on the cable car line and a short walk to the Garden District so it is very conveniently located. It is about a $10-$12 Uber ride to the French Quarter as well.||The bedroom is very roomy and had an excellent bed. There are big windows in the bedroom and the living area so you may have good views of the area. The bathroom was very nice with a very nice shower. The kitchen area has a refrigerator, sink, stovetop and dishwasher. Our room was on the 11th floor on the front side of the hotel so we had a good view of the bridge over the Mississippi which is nicely lite up at night. The only drawback to that side is it can be a little loud on the weekend but it didn't really bother us. ||The pool and courtyard areas are both really nice and the rooftop sun deck has some nice views, comfortable furniture and you will usually have it all to yourself.||One other great perk is the Mister Johns Steakhouse which you can enter from the hotel. This is a topnotch restaurant with great steaks, sides and desserts. Give it try.||Last but not least the staff is amazing, from the front desk to the valet and everyone in between. I don't think I have ever stayed anywhere with a friendlier and more helpful team of employees. While we were there they had a little mishap and the elevator got flooded and were all out of service. The hotel had to be evacuated. The entire staff was out to assist people and give us information about what was going on. They had obviously been well drilled on what to do in the event of an emergency.||We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come here again.

My husband and I celebrated his birthday day and stayed at the Avenue Plaza. The staff was Amazing!!! Everyone was extremely nice and accommodating. The Trolley stops directly in front of the hotel which made getting around easy. The restaurant "Mr. John's'" that is attached to the hotel was delicious!!! The Executive Chef personally came out to our table and checked on us. He was great!!! The waiters were also very personable.

Great Hotel in beautiful Garden District. Stayed here for a week with some friends and had a wonderful visit. Hotel rooms are very nice and accommodating. Has everything you need. Staff is also very friendly, always greeting you with a smile. Love the outside courtyard and pool area. Streetcars are right across the street and is the easiest way to get to the French Quarter. Attached to the hotel is Mr. John’s Steakhouse. Excellent food and service. A special shout out to Charlie the bartender, thanks so much for the great service and putting up with us We will definitely return.

I had a wonderful stay here. The staff were happy, fun and extremely helpful.
The room needs a little upgrading but aside from that, good. I didn't have a tub in mine, just a shower but not a biggie.
Having access to the great spots with the street car right in front, definitely made sightseeing fun and easy.

I stayed here for a week, and it was lovely. It’s in a nice quiet part of town, but still within walking distance of restaurants and attractions. My only small quibble was that the bathroom in my one bedroom suite was a bit tight, but well-appointed and stocked. The rooftop deck has amazing views. I would definitely stay here again!

The rooms need updating. We rejected the first room with a view onto the HVAC system. Second room had a better view. NO housekeeping! Phones don't work. Bathroom is TINY - we are small people and we could hardly fit into the narrow space to sit on the toilet. Anyone over 140 pounds would not fit. Oddly shaped rooms. Staff at reception was good and helpful. The time share staff just badgered us - even when I stated emphatically that we had no interest. The location is convenient.
